On January 23, 2025, the workshop «Digital Transformation in Education: AI Usage Challenges» took place, gathering over 30 participants—primary school teachers and educators interested in introducing innovative technologies into the educational process. The event was held as part of the project «Digital Transformation in Education: Best EU Research Practices».
During the event, several important topics related to the use of artificial intelligence in education were discussed:
- Practical cases of AI implementation in the learning process to support personalized learning.
- Challenges and risks of digital transformation, including issues of ethical technology use and data security.
- Opportunities for interaction with experts from the DigTriES project, who shared their research and successful practices.
Participants gained access to real examples of AI usage in classrooms, tools and recommendations for the effective implementation of digital solutions in their work, and the opportunity to ask experts questions and discuss their own challenges during an interactive session.
Primary school teachers highlighted the practical value of the workshop and its high level of organization, as confirmed by the survey results. Here are a few comments:
