On October 15, 2022, an information day of the project “Digital transformation in education: the best EU studies” (DigTriES), Erasmus+ (Jean Monnet Module), No. 10109900 was held as part of the Erasmus Days. <\/p>\n

Nataliia Morze, project coordinator, professor of the computer sciences department, spoke to the participants of the meeting. The purpose, objectives, tasks and expected results of the project “Digital transformation in education: the best studies of the EU” (DigTriES) were presented.<\/p>\n

In particular, the participants learned that the goal of the project is to raise the awareness of Ukrainian educators about the best practices of the EU regarding the digital transformation of education and motivate educators to use them in their professional activities.<\/p>\n

The speaker familiarized the listeners with the goals of the project, among which the practice-oriented ones were highlighted: the development of an educational module using the best practices of the EU regarding the digital transformation of education; updating and developing the university curriculum in accordance with EU best practices regarding the digital transformation of education; development of a digital community network of primary school teachers in Kyiv and European countries by increasing their digital competence. It was also discussed how to ensure the quality of distance education for students displaced during the war.<\/p>\n

The participants showed interest in the tasks of the project. In particular, the possibility of joining the new educational module “Digital Transformation in EU Education: Research and Experience” (10 hours of lectures, 54 hours of seminars), participation in three Summer Schools “EU Best Practices: Universal Design for Learning” (30 hours ), “EU Best Practices: Computational Thinking” (24 hours), “EU Best Practices: Digital Tools and Solutions for Inquiry-Based STEAM Learning” (24 hours), a workshop and an international conference.<\/p>\n

The project has a page on social networks <\/a>and its own YouTube channel, where a recording of the event<\/a> is posted.<\/p>\n
